These are a healthy take on waffles. This recipe is delicious, and is gluten-free and lactose-free, but you wouldn’t know it… trust me!
Heres the recipe and enjoy!
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour (or substitute a gluten free flour)
1/3 cup Oat Bran
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
1/2 cup Almond Milk
1 Large Egg
1 1/2 tbs Honey
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
*For an added twist, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a complete meal!*
Blend all the ingredients together. Prep your waffle maker by greasing it with coconut oil as a healthy alternative. Finally, top with your choice of syrup and ENJOY!
