Smoothies are a great way to get in your fruits and vegetables. For myself, I try to blend up as much as possible to get the maximum amount of health benefits out of each smoothie! It can be very simple. But this time I decided to mix it up and try something different with my smoothie.
I recently purchased “CytoGreens” by Allmax which has high density chlorophyll-rich nutrients jam packed into the green powder. Anyways, I found it difficult to drink since I wasn’t overly happy with the taste. So, I thought… Why not blend it in my smoothies for an extra added punch! The overall result? Delicious, I couldn’t even taste it.
Heres my energy dense, nutrient rich recipe for the Ultimate Smoothie:
1/2 of a Banana
1/2 cup Frozen Berries (you can also use fresh if you have it)
1/4 cup Lactose Free Milk or Almond Milk (add more/less depending on the consistency you like)
1/2 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (or your desired brand or flavour)
1/2 scoop of CytoGreens (If you want to stick with a natural, whole food route. Try adding some spinach in place of this supplement)
